Notre prochain rendez-vous aura lieu le jeudi 27 juin à partir de 19H au Bar entièrement rénové sous les arcades de l'Hôtel Beau-Rivage Palace .

I-CHLAR est une conférence de recherche à but non lucratif, fondée par l’EHL en 2007. Organisé tous les deux ans, ce concept unique de conférence réunit à la fois des chercheurs et des professionnels de l'industrie de l’accueil afin de partager leurs connaissances respectives et de faire face ensemble aux défis futurs de cette industrie. La langue officielle de la conférence est l’anglais. - S’inscrire

Pour cette 4ème édition, I-CHLAR revient donc à l’EHL les 4 et 5 juillet prochain.

La journée du 4 juillet sera une journée dédiée au F&B via la Chaire F&B dirigée par Dr. Christine Demen Meier.

Deux grands thèmes seront alors abordés :

Supply Chain Management dans Foodservice: Quel avenir pour les canaux de distribution?
avec la participation de Bénédicte Laferrière, Global Director - Danone Professional, David Field, Head of Global Sales & Customer Development - Nestle Professional & Thomas Camenzind, Google Food Service Manager EMEA - Google GmbH Switzerland

F&B 3.0 : l’utilisation des nouvelles technologies dans la restauration de demain
avec la participation de Skye Legon, OneLab & Philippe Niederhauser, TBS

Cette journée se terminera par des ateliers culinaires animés par les MOF (Meilleur Ouvrier de France) de l’EHL, puis par une « F&B Chair Award Ceremony ».
En effet, dans le cadre de son F&B Chair Challenge, la Chaire Food & Beverage récompense une personnalité de la cuisine œuvrant au développement des compétences pour cette industrie. Cette année, la Chaire Food & Beverage a l’honneur de récompenser Madame Anne Sophie Pic pour son implication passée (soutien à l’association « Petits Princes », accueil d’enfants malades, soutien ponctuel aux Restos du Cœur,…) et la création de sa fondation « Donnons du goût à l’enfance » qui, à travers ses diverses activités, vise à enseigner les arts culinaires et l’équilibre alimentaire auprès des enfants.
Deux autres prix seront aussi décernés à des étudiants qui concourent dans les catégories suivantes, « the manager in F&B outlets in 2025 » et « the kitchen chef in F&B outlets in 2025 ».

La journée du 5 juillet se concentrera sur la présentation de papiers de recherche et sur un panel autour du sujet « Hotel Benchmarking: Promoting a wider participation in benchmarking and performance metrics? ». Ce panel s’articulera autour de STR Global, représenté par Naureen Ahmed, et des représentants de l’industrie (Eyetravel, Brand Karma Circos representé par Don Birch, Revenue Performance representé par Duncan Bramwell) et des chercheurs (Dr. Sandra Jankovic, Dr. Angela Roper and Dr. Jim Hesford). Cette journée se clôturera par un diner de Gala concocté par les MOF de l’EHL.

Enfin, la journée du 6 juillet sera dédiée aux activités et à la découverte de la riviera vaudoise. Tout d’abord, les participants prendront le bateau depuis Ouchy pour Chillon où une visite du château est organisée. Ensuite, ils pourront profiter du lac et de sa vue imprenable depuis un lunch à Montreux. A cette époque de l’année, Montreux vit au rythme du Montreux Jazz Festival, les participants pourront donc profiter du festival off dans les rues animées de Montreux et les plus chanceux qui auront gagné un billet à la tombola organisé par l’EHL au début de la conférence, pourront assister aux concerts du samedi soir !

En línea con lo expuesto anteriormente, el día 6 de junio, hemos querido organizar un evento de networking entre antiguos alumnos de IMD, EPFL y EHL, para ayudar a consolidar y a potenciar las buenas relaciones surgidas a partir del evento que tuvo lugar en la casa del Embajador Suizo.

La fecha elegida es el día 6 de junio. Nos reuniremos a las 19:30 de la tarde, en un clásico que muchos ya conocemos, el bar Tula, en la calle Claudio Coello 116, Madrid.

Será una excelente ocasión para aumentar nuestras redes profesionales y pasar un rato divertido e informal.

Esta será una muy buena ocasión para vernos antes de las vacaciones de verano.

Mesa de debate en colaboración con el Instituto de Empresa de Madrid

Como ya os comentamos hace un tiempo, es nuestro deseo empezar a establecer relaciones profesionales con otras escuelas de negocios tanto españolas como suizas y comenzar a organizar eventos conjuntos.

Después del evento en la embajada Suiza, queremos continuar con esta iniciativa, organizando una mesa debate: "Beneficios y oportunidades de la sostenibilidad en las empresas turísticas. Casos de éxito”

La mesa debate tendrá lugar el día 7 de junio, en el Instituto de la Empresa en Madrid, de 9:00 a 12:00.

Nous nous réjouissons beaucoup de cette rencontre qui réunira deux Stamms amis et à laquelle participera Valérie De Corte, Directrice du Réseau des anciens.

Maxime Rod, directeur général de l'Hôtel Beaulac, à Neuchâtel et membre du Conseil du Stamm Neuchâtel-Jura, est l'organisateur de cette soirée qui se déroulera dans le nouveau temple neuchâtelois du jeu.

L'établissement, un casino de catégorie B, offre 6 tables de jeux, 150 machines à sous, un restaurant d'une capacité de 70 couverts et un lounge-bar de 80 places : de quoi passer d'agréables moments qui peuvent être riches en émotion !!!

Coffee Fest has been celebrating coffee long before coffee was “hot”. In 1992, they gathered coffee professionals together in Seattle for their first coffee festival. 18.03 - Visite Manufacture d'orgues

Vous allez vivre, ce soir-là, une soirée vraiment exceptionnelle !

Maude Ryter nous proposera d'abord une visite inédite : celle d'une manufacture d'orgues qui travaille de manière authentique en excluant tout recours à des matériaux synthétiques. Puis, une visite au temple de Chézard-St-Martin nous permettra de juger, par la vue et par l'oreille, de la qualité du travail de réfection réalisé sur un tel instrument.

Christian Schmed nous emmènera ensuite à Dombresson, plus précisément, à l'Hôtel de Commune, chez Michel Stanguel, pour y dîner. L'endroit noté 15 points au Gault Millau est l'un des fleurons de la gastronomie neuchâteloise.

Notre prochain rendez-vous aura lieu le jeudi 28 février à 19H à l'Hôtel de La Paix.
Nous y organiserons une soirée « réseautage rapide», une occasion pour chacun d'entre nous de présenter les services offerts par notre société ou pour ceux qui cherchent un nouvel emploi de se présenter.

La formule sera différente de l'année dernière. Vous recevrez plus d'informations lors de votre inscription. Attention, le nombre de place est limité à 50.

A l'issu de cet échange, pour ceux que ça intéresse, nous aurons une présentation de Base7, un nouveau système de réservation pour les hôtels de 1 à 50 chambres; logiciel développé par 5 associés dont 4 alumnis.

Nous nous retrouverons ensuite au Benjamin Bistro & Bar pour notre traditionnel stamm café. Des tapas seront offerts par l'hôtel de La Paix et la première boisson sera offerte par le stamm. Les consommations suivantes seront payantes.

Bien entendu, ceux qui n'auront pas participé à la soirée réseautage pourront nous rejoindre au bar.
